Idiot's Guide to Fads

For this brief, I was required to create something related to fads and fashions. I decided to look at the idiocy of fads and take a satirical approach to human stupidity. The “Idiot’s Guide” books were a fad in themselves and so I thought it would be fitting to make an entire guide to creating fads, through the use of a fad. I purposefully made the book look bad so that the satirical tone could be emphasized through the use of colouring, images and even the font. Some of the copy inside is clearly fictional, however I wrote it so that it is still informative despite the fictional aspects. The book is supposed to be expendable. A reader should feel that they can read it, laugh and enjoy it and then get rid of it; just like any other fad.
